Sicilians days in Argentina: The “Federation of Sicilian Associations of Buenos Aires and South of the Argentina Republic” organize the “Art, Fashion and Kitchen from the land of Sicily” kermesse, from 5 to 9 April 2011, in Buenos Aires.
The kitchen course “Perfumes, Taste and Memories from the Sicilian kitchen” held by chef Ciro Princiotta will be present on 5 - 6 April at the Circolo Italiano di Buenos Aires; all dishes will be prepare using only sicilian ingredients and will be spice up with “Tornisìa” and “Elaion” extra virgin olive oil, produced by Tornisìa Aziende Agricole s.s.
The kermesse is supported by the Sicilian Region, the Sicilian Chamber of Commerce in Argentina and also by Slow Food Buenos Aires and Circolo Italiano di Buenos Aires.

Japan's most powerful earthquake (magnitudo 9.0) since records began has hit
Japan on the 11th of March 2011. The earthquake created tsunami waves of up to
10 meters that struck the north-east coast and caused up thousand of victims and people missing just in Miyagi prefecture.
Lot of people have lost their home, their family and had to
evacuate the damaged area with nowhere to go.
Streamit Japan believes it would be respectful to interrupt temporarily our
broadcastings to let Japan know that we are sharing their grief.
Our Italian and Japanese staff is now getting organized to offer up-to-date
information and support Japan concretely with the help of all the people in the
world that love this amazing country and are suffering together with Japanese
people.

Forecasts foresee an amount of 5 millions of single users within the end 2011 and of 10 millions within the end of 2012. On November the 18th, during a conference at the Italian Embassy in Tokyo, W’Japan - an Italian-Japanese partnership of 12 enterprises – has presented Streamit Japan: a trade project supported by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Economic Development. A gorgeous buffet offered by Tornisìa Aziende Agricole, followed.
Streamit Japan has been developed in 2009 with the support of Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and by SIMEST. Exploiting the highly innovative WEBTV platform www.streamit.jp, Streamit Japan is going to promote “Sistema Italia” and the excellences of the Made in Italy in the Country of the Rising Sun.
